bakoffice Reports is an online service from bakoffice.org that helps nonprofits collect, organize, analyze, and share their impact in real time all without extra paperwork or complicated tools. The design goal is to make Impact Reporting as easy as sending a text message.

Nonprofit work is organized into Programs and Activities

For example, a nonprofit that focuses on Food Insecurity likely has several service areas, or programs, like a soup kitchen and a food closet. Every day their activities include serving lunch and then dinner while also providing sacked groceries from a food closet. Staff and volunteers mange these activities while supporters are eager to stay informed of the nonprofit’s impact.

This is how exactly how we designed bakoffice Reports.

We wanted to make getting started really easy. When nonprofits set up bakoffice Reports for the first time, they only need to understand two primary concepts: Programs and Activities. An Activity is a trackable and measurable moment when a service is provided to a beneficiary. A Program contains alike Activities to keep reporting consistent and organized. Reporters submit Activity Reports and later staff and Followers can monitor and celebrate the impact.

As Activity Reports get submitted through the web, a mobile phone, or text message, staff can review data and analyze everything for accuracy and impact. Report lists can be filtered, sorted, and summarized while charts make reporting more insightful and professional. Activities can be tagged for deeper organization and analysis.

Keep everyone informed

And from this exact same system, public Impact Reports will engage supporters and potential donors with realtime updates. Followers can subscribe to your Impact Reports, choosing to get weekly or monthly automated reports to their inbox. Even building quarterly Board and Annual Reports will be a snap since all of the data will already be saved and available through the nonprofit Dashboard.
